We haven’t had a family photo with our entire family since my first son was born in October of 2006, and it was taken at Sears where we were all cramped in a little bitty room. PaPa was asked to take his glasses off because the photographer couldn’t photograph him without glare in his glasses, so it doesn’t quite look the same.
Since then, we have lost a Granny, gained another son in September of 2008, gained a nephew in 2010 and this past Friday, gained a sweet princess niece to my family! We couldn’t be more excited! I would love to have a photo that captures all of our family in a natural setting where we don’t look goofy or squished in a little room. I enjoyed watching you photograph the family near my home not long ago. Everyone was calm, having fun, and smiling. Then, your finished products were posted on the blog and they captured all of that. I would love it in the fall, with gorgeous skies and cooler temperatures. I want THAT. 🙂 Happy Birthday to you!

I am the mother of a beautiful family. 1 husband and 3 amazing boys(twin 5 year olds and a 2 month old). We are a very outdoor family, whether we are at the beach, a water park, the regular park, or just in the front yard, we love to be outside enjoying the day as a family. My dream photo shoot would incorporate some of our loves in it. I would love to take pictures at the beach or in a scenic park. To win this would be so incredibly amazing. I have not been able to take a family portrait since my oldest were 2 years old. I would love to win this so i can have a beautiful family picture worthy of my wonderful family.

My dream family session always involves more than just taking pictures – instead it’s capturing memorable time spent together. Maybe it’s a party or a park, an art project or trying something new. But everyone gets involved and can get beautiful pictures that also carry meaning. I love sessions that involve extended family and showcase the family home since so many pictures at home are ordinary, it can be fun to have extraordinary pictures in your everyday setting. Of course, I have been dreaming of a beach photo shoot for years, and see it happening with the new Pleasure Pier as a backdrop. So probably that’s my current dream shoot…and luckily, it fills all my criteria since who doesn’t love a perfect beach day with the family?

I’ve been wanting to take a family photo for quite sometime. It’s always me behind the lense taking pictures of my husband and the kids and never one of all of us together. My dream family photo would be somewhere outside, where the sun is shinning and clouds are big puffy marshmallows, the kids are swinging while daddy & push. Nothing traditional but where we get to express how unique & beautiful we each are as a family. I have two boys and a stepdaughter so it will be fun to shoot!

This year, brings a huge milestone in our family, that coincides with Michelle’s birthday giveaway. August 7, my husband and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. What a journey it has been! Those twenty years have brought many blessings (the greatest of which are our four amazing children), many joys, our fair share of tears, and great life lessons. But in those years we have seen the goodness of the Lord and His blessings poured out on our family. We don’t have the biggest house on the street or a life with no difficulty, but the six of us have a love for each other that binds us and carries us through each day…and each day is another opportunity to build more memories and stories that will be treasured in our hearts for a lifetime.

Only Michelle can capture the essence of our family in a photograph. That special smile, the expressions, the connection between each of us, the love we share, these are the things that can be seen through her lens. And these are the photographs that we need to preserve the memories of this time in our life.

A family session this year would be so very special. I would love to preserve the memories of this 20 year milestone. In years past, family pictures have revolved around the kids…and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. But this time, I would love to focus the session on the love that was the beginning of this beautiful family. I would love Michelle to capture this part of the story, not only for my husband and I as we celebrate our anniversary, but for my children to always remember that a love centered in Christ keeps a family strong!

Thanks for the opportunity to share our story and happy birthday, Michelle!

I think the best pictures are the ones that are not forced, full of fun and laughter, and spontaneous. With that being said….I am sitting down at my kitchen table witnessing my spontaneous family. Anyone of these themes would make for a fun photo shoot.

My husband is cooking dinner and blaring country music…so somewhere like the Rodeo or wild Wild West were we could dance and show our Texan side.
My 3 1/2 yr old son just put on his Spider-Man outfit and is “flying” around the house ….a Halloween/ trick or treating shoot could be a blast.
I am sitting across from my 15 month old sitting in his high chair covered in his dinner and has the biggest smile….all our family around a big family table/picnic table outside.
All of these would be a good description of my family and show our crazy love able crew.

OMG, I almost missed this give away! 😉 since before I said “I DO” you have been capturing some of my life’s greatest moments. Now with our new two additions to our family and our love for fishing and everything nautical, my dream photo session with the boys and Neil would be at a marina. Nearing sunset, nice breeze blowing, casual attire, on or near lines of boats as the background and the water below us splashing, would be the perfect background for our photo session. I remember my first experience going out on the water in Neil’s parent’s boat in the Keys and fishing for the first time. It was an out of this world experience. I would love our passion for the sport and boating to be expressed in our photos. Although the boys are still to little to understand this love and passion that we have, we hope that if we win they will always look back on this early memory they will have captured in our photo session.

Since my whole family, including my daughters, granddaughters and spouses, love the beach, I must say that Beth’s photo shoot experience sounds terrific to me. My husband has NEVER been to a beach, other than in Alaska, so the whole family would love to introduce him to a warm, beautiful beach!! A family vacation to the Houston area sounds terrific, and Beth sounds like a person after my own heart!! I definitely would like to vote for Beth’s story.
