Summery Engagement Session at Balmorhea Events

Even though it was in mid-October, it was nice and warm during Michelle and Greg’s engagement session! For anyone who knows Houston, this is definitely nothing new! But Michelle and Greg weren’t phased as we wandered around the grounds at Balmorhea, their secluded and peaceful, country venue. It was crazy to think that the next time they’d be walking the grounds hand in hand, they’d be husband and wife!  Greg definitely always kept Michelle laughing, she said he’s definitely just a big kid at heart! In turn, Greg says his strong, independent woman keeps his head on straight.

Today is the day! They’ll tie the knot in a beautiful, outdoor ceremony in front of all of their favorite people! We are so excited and honored to be there to document all the sweet, special moments.  Michelle is the youngest and last daughter to get married so she’s looking forward to a special moment with her dad. She had a hard time keeping details about her dress from Greg, so she’s definitely excited for him seeing her in it for the first time! Of course, Greg is most eager to see his beautiful bride walking down the aisle towards him. Oh, and of course, the cobbler! 🙂

Michelle told me the sweet story of how she and Greg hold pinkies most of the time, instead of holding hands because that’s how her grandparents hold hands!

“I absolutely love that Greg can make me laugh all the time.  Anytime I am having a bad day, am sad, or am just in a bad mood, he knows how to turn my frown upside-down!”

Michelle and Greg, we are so incredibly excited and thankful for you! We know it will be the most amazing day full of excitement and lots of love! 🙂 Just soak it all in!
