What is your style? More candid or posed?
Definitely mixed! I’ll pose and guide your family a little bit so that you look your best and feel comfortable and relaxed. But I also encourage you to play and love on each other as much as possible! I want to see the love y’all have for each other and document it as best I can in a way that feels natural to you.
Where does the session take place?
Happy Place sessions are meant to document your family in your "happy place!" Maybe that's your home or your favorite park or even your parent's farm! As long as there is pretty, natural light we can make it work. For our Sunshine Sessions, we have a list of signature locations for you to choose from! We also have a studio in Garden Oaks that is available to you. We use it frequently for Seasonal Sessions, Heirlooms and studio newborn sessions.
How far outside of Houston do you travel?
The session includes travel up to 25 miles from 77018. Please inquire for current travel fees beyond this distance.
What time of day is the session?
Newborn sessions are typically 9:30 - 11:30 am. All outdoor sessions typically begin 2 hours before the sun sets (around 3-5pm in winter and 6-8pm in summer). Keep this in mind, little ones usually do better in the winter since it’s before their bedtimes. If you are trying to avoid taking off work, the spring or summer might be better for you. We can also make a time during the day work for studio sessions.
What day of the week is the session?
Newborn Sessions are usually on Wednesdays and family sessions are usually on Wednesdays and Thursday afternoons. Our weekends are dedicated to spending time with our family. Seasonal Sessions are usually on weekends.

Can we do an outfit change?
Of course, you are welcome to change outfits as many times as you’d like! Just consider that the more outfits you have, the less time we will be shooting.
Can I bring my friend/sister/nanny to help with the baby/dog/etc?
Of course!! The more people you have to make you feel comfortable and make you laugh, the better! Plus, having an extra hand with little ones or pups is a HUGE help!
How many photos will I get to choose from?
Depending on the number of family members, outfits and locations, typically 75+ for Sunshine Sessions, 100+ photographs for Happy Place Sessions, and 20+ photographs for Seasonal Sessions will be available for purchase after your session. All photos are selected when we go through all the photos together during your reveal session and make your selections.
How and when do we see photos after the session?
We will have a reveal session after your shoot for you to choose your favorites. Once you choose, it takes typically take 8 - 12 weeks to receive your artwork (albums & framed photos) and two weeks or less to get your photos master retouched and uploaded to your online gallery for you to share with your family & friends.
Are digital photos included?
Our goal is help you enjoy your images to the fullest and we believe that means creating artwork you can enjoy each day. During the reveal session, you will select and purchase your favorite images. Each print or album image purchased comes with the matching digital file in your online gallery so you will have them for safe keeping and be able to create prints and such on your own later if desired.

YAY! Contact us here and I will send over a questionnaire, contract, & invoice. Once we have the contract signed and deposit paid, that will confirm your date! We require half upfront to save your date. The second half is due on the day of the session.
Wait, what if it rains?!
Don’t worry, we can always reschedule due to the weather. We will touch base a few days before the session and make sure everything is looking good.
I’m nervous about being in front of the camera! Is this going to be hard? What if I don’t like the photos?
Don’t even worry! I know having your photo taken can seem a little nerve wracking, but I am there to make it as fun and relaxed as possible!! If it takes making a fool out of myself to get you to laugh, I’ll do it! If you aren’t over the moon happy with the photos, I’ll happily reshoot until you are!
