Corley & Ben’s destination elopement to the Dominican Republic was absolutely perfect and overflowing with love! First of all, Corley is an amazing wedding and event producer for her own company, Spell Events. They are the greatest dynamic duo! Corley’s attention to detail and meticulous planning skills combined with Ben’s musical talents and ability to build anything Corley dreams up make them an unstoppable company! Corley knows exactly how to plan and produce the perfect event for all of her clients so I knew her wedding was going to be one for the books, but she really outdid herself! All of her gorgeous BHLDN details had me swooning from the start, but once I really got to see her love with Ben, I knew that was the best part of all.
Like all of our sweet #cottoncouples, these two are so madly in love but, believe it or not, they hadn’t been dating long before they tied knot. Corley and I were friends before Ben came along and swept her off her feet, so I was a little surprised to hear how quickly these two were running off with each other! : ) All it takes is about 10 minutes with these two to realize that they are truly soulmates. It’s like they’ve known each other their whole lives and I honestly can’t imagine them without the other. They are both such sweet, old souls and when you see them together, the way he treats her, the way she looks at him, the way they laugh together, you can just tell they are best friends in love.
Since it was just the four of us for 4 days in this beautiful place, Kellan and I instantly became lifelong friends with this amazing couple!! They’re just so full of grace and goodness! You don’t really realize how intimate an elopement can be until you are the one there documenting the whole thing. Their families were waiting patiently at home and we know what we were creating was the only tangible thing that they would have to show their friends and families. What a gift that was to us!
Since this was such a small and private elopement, we decided to take this opportunity to do our very first wedding film for them! Kellan used to do film making in high school and college so we went for it! You can see their sweet wedding film here and at the end of this post! Corley & Ben, can we go back and do it all over again? Take us back! #Cottonlovesdestinations!
Since it was just the two of them, they got ready together which made for super sweet photos!
This rose gold ring, y’all! I told you her details were on point!
Did I mention that Ben is also a super talented musician?! So naturally, Ben sang the perfect song for Corley as she walked down the sandy aisle.
Of course they had to face time with the family right after they said “I do!”
I’m sure you can tell by now, these two are incredibly photogenic! Not to mention, they have some pretty amazing chemistry! We can’t even imagine how adorable their babies will be!!
Another reason to elope, you get to do whatever your heart desires after the ceremony, like having a cocktail on the beach at sunset! The whole schedule is up to you. You don’t have to worry about anyone else but you and your love.
Also, you have the time for a stroll along the beach with your new hubby atop a beautiful white horse!
Corley seriously radiates love and I’m so grateful to have this beautiful soul in my tribe!
A couple who can fall into the ocean in their wedding attire and laugh about, that’s a true #cottoncouple, y’all!!
Here is their sweet wedding film!
Corley and Ben, you know we love you guys to pieces! Your love is going to do such amazing things and we can’t wait to see what life brings y’all!
