Friends, we are so excited that our modern romantic wedding styled shoot at Citadel on Kirby, a new Houston wedding venue, was featured on Ruffled today! Michelle and I had an amazing team of Houston wedding vendors led by the talented Jessica of Weddings by Jessee! Sometimes, I get the urge to do a project like this just for creativity’s sake, and putting this shoot together was so much fun! Here’s some of our favorites for your inspiration! : )

I’m still obsessed with this romantic fishtail braid Brit of Butter created for us! She took our inspiration and blew it out of the water! Time to start growing my hair out I guess. : )

Our sweet friend Jenny Lake from A Fine Flourish created the most stunning invites on hemp paper and added the perfect gold leaf touches!

Isn’t our friend Meredith (below) of Cake & Confetti the cutest?! I think it was her genius idea to add gold leaf in her hair for a little extra partaaaay! Thanks so much to our other friends in the industry who modeled for us! The gorgeous Ashley (our bride and a coordinator with Keeley Thorne Events) and “Snow White” Emelia (an amazing fashion designer)! : )
