Backyard River Oaks Wedding

John’s father’s home made for the perfect backdrop for this dreamy River Oaks Wedding. Natalie & John said “I do!” in front of so many close friends and family members at their gorgeous backyard wedding. Natalie stunned all the guests in her one of kind, gorgeous gown! When we see an extra large wedding party, 16 bridesmaids and 16 groomsmen, like Natalie and John had, we just know right off the bat that these two are amazing friends!

We actually met Natalie and John through one of our favorite past couple’s wedding, Leanne & Matt. They tied the knot back in October 2014. Since then, we’ve photographed 2 of her bridesmaid’s weddings and Alyssa is photographing Leanne’s sister’s wedding in Belize in April! I have to say I’m a little jealous I won’t be able to make it to Belize since our little one is arriving late March. But I know Alyssa will have a blast without me! 🙂 It’s been so fun to see this sweet group year after year!

Kellan actually recognized John at Leanne’s wedding because he went to high school with John! Even being one of the biggest cities, Houston really makes this world feel small! I guess that’s why they call Houston the biggest small town.

We loved the uniqueness of their ring set!

Gorgeous Backyard Wedding Ceremony

Alyssa photographed Mary & Noble wedding last year so we loved getting to see them again!

  

Everything about this day was beautiful but my favorite part without a doubt was these two right here. You can just feel how much they love each other and that’s so special to be around!

They filled this table with beautiful photos of their sweet mothers and a dear friend they’ve lost. Such a special way to remember them on this important day in their lives.

 

John’s dance with his sister had us all in tears!

     

John loves to cook so his groom’s cake couldn’t have been more perfect! The steak cake looked so real!

The little ring bearers waited so patiently and made sure to be first in line for their slice of cake!

No wedding is complete without a banana foster station, right?!
