At our first meeting with Jeanne and Kevin, Kinsey (our little girl) was only a few months old! We had Jeanne and Kevin over to our house to get to know each other over cookies. Because, duh! ; )
We always love having our clients over before booking because it’s so important to make sure we are a good fit. Spending over 8 hours together on the wedding day is a big deal and we want to make sure they like us. ; )
Kinsey just bounced in her bouncer while we chatted and ate all the chocolate chip cookies. We chatted, heard their sweet love story and showed them albums. But I’m pretty sure Kinsey’s sweet smiling face is why Jeanne and Kevin truly picked us as their photographers! Ha!

Either way, we are so thrilled Jeanne and Kevin chose us to photograph their incredibly special wedding day at the Bell Tower on 34th! They are truly one of the most kind, genuine couples we’ve ever had the honor of photographing! Seriously, we want to be BFFs with them for life!
Not to mention, their wedding was STUNNING and filled with all my favorite things! From FRIENDS quotes (my true love language) in the maid of honor speech to Berry Chantilly Cake from Whole Foods, I was in heaven! With gorgeous soft blue accents throughout the day, it was the perfect spring wedding for this Tuscan style wedding venue.

- “Don’t skimp on flowers and reuse everything from the ceremony to the reception. All of our aisle seat bundles were reused in 3 small vases on some tables, the four tall centerpieces were reused on tables, and the large ceremony ones were reused as well.”
- “Get the big stuff out of the way ASAP (venue, coordinator, flowers, and photographer) that way you have a few months in between to relax and enjoy the engagement.”
- “Go to premarital counseling!! It was such an eye-opener for Kevin and I and really set us up for our journey as husband and wife. Our pastor did ours and we learned so much even after dating for 3 years!”

Saying “Yes” to the Dress
“I chose my dress because I always wanted sleeves and some sort of lace. I fell in love with my Rosa Clara dress because of the bow sash. It was tied in a similar way that the traditional Korean dress (hanbok) has in the front and wanted to incorporate a nod to my family’s heritage.”
“Our flowers were classic as well and had hints of thistle which is the Scottish flower. Kevin is half Scottish so also a nod to his heritage. ” – Jeanne

Choosing to do a “first look”
Kevin and Jeanne chose to do a “first look” so they could have a private moment together before the ceremony. We always love “first looks” and theirs did not disappoint!
“What I loved most about our wedding was our first look, ceremony, flowers, band, and of course our wonderful photographers!
