It’s always a little risky doing our outdoor Christmas mini sessions in November with the unpredictable Houston weather. But this year, we were extraordinarily blessed with a beautiful 60 degrees and so much sunshine for our first weekend of Christmas minis!

Maybe it’s because I am pregnant and God just knew there wasn’t time for rescheduling almost 20 families for Christmas minis! Either way, I’m so thankful we had lots of sunshine and even more smiles from all these cuties!

Houston Christmas Mini Sessions | 1st Weekend 2019 Recap

You might remember Natalie and John from their gorgeous backyard River Oaks wedding a few years ago. Well, now they have the cutest little addition to their family! #obsessed

We had the pleasure of meeting sweet little Elliott this year too! I have no doubt that Elliott will have his dad’s awesome sense of humor!

Also his parents, Kaitlin & Edison, had one of our favorite weddings ever at the Parador! Watching our Cotton Couples grow into sweet families is truly the best part of this “job!”

Sanaz and her sweet family were apart of our indoor Christmas mini sessions a few years ago when they were just a family of 3!

I have to say Sebastian is the perfect addition to this sweet crew! Check out his dad skills balancing him with one hand!!

Laura and Stefan had the sweetest mommy-son photo session in the teepee! I know these will be such sweet gifts for her hubby!

Miss Nova loved riding the sleigh! I know it won’t be long before her little brother is riding right there next to her!

The Clowney’s came Christmas ready in their matching outfits! Such little sweethearts!

Another sweet Cotton couple, Ashton & Zach, are expecting their first little one in December! We are actually only 1 week apart! So fun!

We will never forget their elegant wedding at the Revaire! Seriously so dreamy!!!

Every year with the Martins gets better and better! Sweet little Emily is just the cutest!

We really got to know the Ivey’s when they were pregnant with their sweet little Charlie girl. You might remember them from their maternity session at Eleanor Tinsley Park! 

It’s been such an honor to document this sweet family ever since, especially since our girls are only 1 month apart. And now they are pregnant with baby girl #2 (just like us!). Bring on all the girl parties!

Day Two | Outdoor Houston Christmas Mini Sessions

Check out this sweet little man, Connor! Such a little Cherub! He was all smiles for the camera!

Little Scottie rocked the afternoon alongside her beautiful pup, Bear!

It’s sweet boys like Eli that make me think maybe we should try for a boy someday! Such a sweet family!

Love this girl momma and her sweet little fam! You might remember Jeremy & Jenny from their stunning Colorado destination wedding! Well, now they’ve added sweet baby girl Elliott to their family!

How cute is Miss Sloane all snuggled with her parents?!

Every time we see this girl, she gets bigger and bigger! Miss Chandler is only 1 month older than Kinsey and I’m pretty convinced she might be a whole head taller than her!

She had the coolest llama themed 1st birthday party back in February! Love this sweet fam!

Another Cotton Couple added to their family this year! Sweet Shelley & Chad had a gorgeous Belize wedding last year but somehow I think this year with their new little man might have topped it!

Loved getting to meet these two cuties and their sweet pup Ellie!

I think this is our third year to photograph June and we couldn’t adore her more! She loved the sled, teepee and just about everything! This girl is all smiles just like her sweet parents!

This year we got to meet their sweet pup, Dolly, who matched perfectly with their black and white color scheme!

I can’t believe the first weekend of Christmas minis is behind us! It was so good to see so many sweet faces again and meet new friends!

We are so grateful for each and every one of you! And we hope you have such a beautiful holiday season!

2020 Houston Mini Sessions

2020 is almost here and we are so excited about the launch of our very first home studio in Garden Oaks/Oak Forest! This has been a dream for over a decade!

With that will come SO many fun mini sessions and I can’t wait to share all about it in the coming months.

Since I will be on maternity leave from December to early March, our next minis will most likely be spring minis in the studio!
