Cue the confetti! My first wedding back after welcoming our sweet Kinsey girl is here! The Cotton Collective team was back together to shoot this romantic black tie affair, Mia and Greg’s Houston Country Club wedding!

Boy oh boy, was this ever the perfect welcome back to the Houston wedding world! Peonies for days, delicate cream and gold accents, and the most darling Cotton couple, we were in heaven!  I definitely missed our new baby and her tiny snuggles for the day, but a day like this makes it all worth it! Plus, I always love a day together with my whole Cotton family.

Bridal Details

Mia chose a bold pop of color as her “something blue” instantly adding wow factor to her wedding day look. We adore Mia’s choice of these elegant, cobalt blue Manolo Blahnik heels!

Alyssa’s favorite moment before photographing any brides details is opening the shoe box! Behind every box is a tiny glimpse into the Bride’s personal style. Just like these gorgeous heels, sweet Mia is a timeless, radiant beauty who might be one of the most photogenic people we’ve ever met!

Still daydreaming over this charming blush, feather Kate Spade clutch. We love when our bride’s make sure to showcase their signature style with unique bridal pieces.

Loving this stationery suite from Nico and Lala. Mia and Greg featured the custom monogram from their stationery suite on their cake topper, as well as on their custom napkins. How cute is their Bassett hound peeking out on their napkins!?

Rachel met up with Greg and his fellas at the Berryman private residence while the girls finished getting ready minutes away. Everyone was all laughs enjoying the morning together. Greg was the best sport as his guys even snuck in a little prank! There’s nothing like “getting iced” on your wedding day! I can safely say Greg has a truly great group of friends.

Mia’s First Look with Dad

Mia and Greg opted out of a private first look or first touch before the wedding. So instead we incorporated a first look with Mia’s dad! This was a fantastic way to have a private moment just the two of them.

Mia’s one-year-old nephew, Knox, made the family photos so sweet! And his outfit makes me want to have a little boy ASAP!

Reception at Houston Country Club

Mia and Greg had their hearts set on an elegant country club wedding from the moment they started planning! However, Harvey added an unexpected twist to our lovebirds happily ever after by damaging their original venue. Heartbroken, they searched for the perfect replacement.

God truly came through in a big way when Mia and Greg were able to move their special day to The Houston Country Club! Special thanks to their fabulous florist, Events in Bloom, and planning team, En Vogue Events. Every detail was beautiful! We made time to capture their reaction as they saw their vision brought to life!

 

The sun-kissed grounds and stunning ballroom brought this timelessly chic event to life! Every minute of Mia and Greg’s day was filled with laughter, hugs, and sweet tears of joy. Mia & Greg, we were so thankful to be there with you every step of the way!

We even snuck outside just in time for some sunset portraits of the newlyweds!

Just when you thought the party was as good as it could get, Orbit, the Houston Astros’ Mascot, rushed the dance floor! The looks on everyone’s faces were priceless!

Drywater Band crushed it, per usual! The dance floor was packed from start to finish. They always make the reception unforgettable!

Mia and Greg’s whole wedding party was a blast! Mia, can your besties be our besties?! We loved them just as much as we love you and Greg! Such great friends!
