Joules Royal Wedding Inspired Watch Party

If you watched the Royal Wedding, you know there’s nothing quite like a royal occasion!

This past weekend, our sweet friend Meredith from Cake and Confetti co-hosted a Royal Wedding inspired watch party with Joules Clothing at The Kirby Collection’s beautiful space.

From the adorable British props to the elegant floral arrangements, everything about the party had royal written all over it! The ladies of Joules and Cake and Confetti did such an amazing job setting everything up!

The much-anticipated event couldn’t have been more perfect alongside these wonderful women, tasty sweets, and delicious British-themed food! And one thing is for sure, there was no shortage of big, fancy hats for this royal occasion : )

WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THE ROYAL WEDDING

Above all, my absolute favorite part was the preacher’s joyous speech. He spoke about how God is love and that love truly has the power to heal. Since we believe love is our greatest legacy, that part really tugged at my heartstrings!

I also couldn’t get over the fact that Meghan’s veil represented a different flora for each of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth! If that isn’t royally classic and beautiful, I don’t know what is!

Can we also talk about how Meghan’s tiara was lent to her by the Queen herself? The sparkling accessory has been in the British royal family for decades and was the perfect addition to the sweet and sentimental ceremony.

Other than the newlywed’s exchange of love-filled glances and Meghan’s timeless and elegant dress, the music really stole the show! When the ceremony was ending a 19-year-old cellist blew the crowd away with his inspiring royal debut as Harry and Meghan made their way outside to a stunning arch of white roses and peonies!

Through diversity, inclusivity, and most importantly love, everything about the Royal Wedding was nothing short of magical. I’m so happy I got to experience it surrounded by all these gorgeous ladies!

I meannn, look at those perfect platters by The Blonde Pantry!

Aren’t these ladies adorable?! A party isn’t complete without some bubbly poppin’!

Our friend at the party had an exact replica of Meghan Markle’s wedding ring made by Brian Gavin Diamonds!

I fell in love with these fun-shaped Okie Doughkie cookies! Those details are hard to beat!

XO,

Michelle & the whole Cotton team
