McGovern Centennial Gardens Maternity Photos with Jenn & Doug

Especially at our favorite location, McGovern Centennial Gardens, maternity photos are my new favorite to photograph! Since having Kinsey, I now understand just how incredible having a baby really is. The good, the bad, the tired & everything in between! All of it truly is a blessing and a reminder that we are not in control, God is! God has entrusted us with this sweet little life. It’s the most incredible feeling I’ve ever experienced!

When we would found out our sweet friends Jenn and Doug were expecting, Kellan and I literally jumped for joy! I don’t know if I’ve ever met such a kind, loving, hilarious, and supportive couple. We had the honor of photographing their joyful wedding in 2016. You might remember their Ashton Gardens wedding with our favorite planners, Keely Thorne Events! 

To Our Sweet Friends

Jenn and Doug, I have no doubt that you two will be the most incredible parents to your sweet baby boy! You are both so patient and kind. I can just tell you will enjoy every part of the journey. And you’ll love each other even more than you do already after you enter parenthood together if you can believe that!

Your little man will bless you in ways you didn’t know possible. Those first few weeks, I’m sure you will stare at your baby (like I did) and just cry tears of joy. LOL! It’s seriously the best ever.

You’ll have so much to teach him but what you don’t know is just how much he is going to teach you. He will teach you about life, about love, about each other. Try to enjoy every phase, even the tough ones. It will go by fast, friends. Soak in all the newborn snuggles and take lots of videos! You won’t regret it.

I hope their sweet boy gets Doug’s goofiness! It’s the best!

 

Doug was sweet enough to take a photo of Jenn and me together! Love this girl!! Also, watching Doug dance around using my camera was life-giving! Ha!
