God couldn’t have created a more gorgeous and sunshine-filled day for Sarah and Eric’s McGovern Centennial Gardens wedding! The gardens in bloom were the most romantic and intimate setting for Sarah and Eric as they said “I do”. The sun was shining just as bright as Sarah’s smile and the entire day was full of joy! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a couple as giddy as these two right after they walked down the aisle!
Hotel Zaza Houston was the perfect place for the girls and the guys to hang out and get ready for the excitement of the day! The wedding suite was absolutely stunning and so fun since you could see McGovern Centennial Gardens from the balcony! Also, how epic is this patio jacuzzi!
When asked what she loves about her husband-to-be, Sarah said, “Eric is so easy-going, slow to anger and so patient. He is generous and always puts me before him. He leads me to the Lord and knows what he wants our marriage to be focused on.”
Since they didn’t want to do a First Look, Sarah and Eric decided to share a “First Touch” instead! It was such a sweet way say hi to each other amid all the craziness of the day. Eric said a prayer, they squeezed each other’s hands and said, “See you at the altar!”

Eric’s words about his favorite characteristics of his wife-to-be were just so sweet and so telling of their love. “I love her sweet spirit and servant’s heart. Her heart for the Lord and others and how selfless she is. How she loves and cares for kids. Even with all my faults she still loves and encourages me.”
Sarah is a true valley girl at heart, so she envisioned a vineyard, French country feel in an intimate setting for their guests. Amye, Sarah’s incredibly sweet mom, helped plan so much of this gorgeous day for Sarah & Eric since they live out of town. You can just tell how much thought and love went into planning this gorgeous day! Corley of Spell Events truly knocked it out of the park with the event design and we were all heart-eyes!
Because of a perfect choice of date, Sarah and Eric will forever share an anniversary with their officiant Caj, who married his wife 17 years ago! Such a meaningful memory!
An avocado bar?! Seriously, we were in heaven! Sarah and Eric are definitely a couple after our own hearts!
How incredible is this arbor that Ben of Spell Events built for their head table? It perfectly brought the gardens inside for their reception.
How incredibly beautiful and perfect this day was! Anyways, Sarah and Eric, we wish you all the joy from your wedding will carry into your marriage together! We know you will build a deep and everlasting bond with Christ at the center of your marriage!
